On Tuesday, October 29th we had the very first session for the module ARMPD.
We were given a brief introduction to what we would be learning in the coming weeks.
The main topic that were discussed are:
- The aim of the module
- How the module will be assessed
- How the module will be helpful (practical application).
The module is basically structure in a way to help and mold
the students so that they can prepare themselves for the future in terms of
academically and career wise. As an main requirement of the module each student
is required to individually analyze and
evaluate a particular business process and come up with a new method to improve
the process in order to make it more
efficient or recognizing a particular drawback in the process and
planning out an solution for it(through the use of IT systems) .
Therefore by the end of the module the student should not
only be able to analyze a business process and recognize potential business
opportunities but also be able to document and present the solution/idea in a
clear effective manner and come up with an efficient project proposal.
